Located in the private Schaffer’s Mill community, this home overlooks the golf course and offers a peaceful setting year-round. In winter, Northstar California Resort and Palisades Tahoe provide world-class skiing and snowboarding just minutes away. In summer, enjoy scenic golf, hiking, and biking, or head to Donner Lake for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Please note: golf course is not a provided amenity, but guests are more than welcome to make reservations for golf outside of this accommodation.

Downtown Truckee is a short drive away, offering local restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, and boutique shopping.

Getting Around:
A car is recommended for exploring the area. While there is no public shuttle from the home, major ski resorts, lakes, and dining options are within a short drive.

Other Things to Note:
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts’ opening and closing dates.

Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.

4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.
