• Welcome to Newly Renovated Bear Creek Cabin, nestled in the rolling hills and lush greenery of Columbus’ Horse Country. Please be aware that while we provide WiFi, many people will find they do not have cell coverage here because of the rural area.

The Space
• This stunning 2-bedroom cabin with an additional loft space offers the perfect getaway for those looking to unwind and connect with nature. Featuring a large deck, wood burning stove, outdoor fire pit and hot tub on 10 acres.

Bedrooms:
- Main level King Bedroom with ensuite bath
- Downstairs King Bedroom with access to full bath on same level.
- Sleeping loft with 3 single beds and additional full bathroom.

Living Areas:
-Full Kitchen that is fully stocked with everything you need.
- Two Living rooms to spread out and relax. One on main level and the other downstairs with foosball, board games and Smart TV`s with cable.

Where you`ll sleep:
- Master bedroom on main floor with King bed and ensuite bathroom with tub/shower combo.
- Downstairs bedroom with King bed and access to full spa like bathroom with shower.
- Sleeping Loft with three, comfortable single beds with plenty of space to spread out and access to full bathroom with shower.

Exterior Spaces:
- Expansive, wrap around porch with dining table and ample seating.
- Patio with Fire Pit and firewood provided.
- Covered patio accessible from downstairs living area includes the Hot tub so you can enjoy no matter the weather!
- Fenced Dog run with path from back porch.

The Cabin is located in a rural setting of the Columbus horse country and is set within 10 private acres. The popular Tryon International Equestrian Center is located a short and easy 10 minutes away.

We have a private, paved driveway with parking for 3 vehicles near the entrance.
1. We have a septic tank and want to make sure your stay is clog free ;) Please do not flush any items other than toilet paper. Never pour any coffee grounds, fats/oils, chemicals, solvents or harsh cleaners down any drain. Do not use bleach in the Washing Machine.

2. We want you to enjoy the hot tub and we care about guest safety. Spa cover should be on the hot tub and clipped when not in use. Please never sit or stand on hot tub cover.

3. In order to enjoy the fire pit and wood burning stove safely, never leave the fire unsupervised.

4. We have a wonderful 10 acres of space to enjoy, however, guests should only park vehicles on driveway, never on grass.

5. Enjoy taking photos of the local wildlife, but no hunting allowed.

6. We welcome a maximum of two (2) dogs only. No other animals (unless a service animal) allowed.

7. In order to keep our linens fur free for you and future guests, please do not allow dogs on beds.

8. We love our fur babies and want to ensure they enjoy their stay as well. As such, dogs should never be left alone outside or inside for extended periods of time. We ask that you crate your dog if going out for a short while.

Beautiful well cared for home in a picturesque location. Our group of 5 adults spent the mornings drinking coffee on the wrap around porch before heading out to one of the surrounding towns to explore and wrapped up evening cooking dinner and playing games.

This place has the potential to be amazing. It’s very nice, and the home is well kept and equipped. It’s in a great location to the Tryon International Equestrian Center which is what we were in town for. Very peaceful and quiet area to relax. Unfortunately we had two issues that were not resolved during our stay. We had no wifi connectivity for any of our devices for the entire 3 night stay. The two TVs that were smart TVs in the home had no issue connecting to the wifi, so it seems the issue might be a setting or limit of connected devices to the router. Our devices would connect with the provided password - however they would not have any internet access. To top it off we had zero cell reception on our Verizon and AT&T cell phones. This made it difficult to keep up with my business needs while we were away, and made it impossible to communicate to anyone unless we drove down the road for cell service. The hot tub was newer and seemed nice but the water was very dirty and cloudy. When we were away from the cabin the host was very responsive to our communication but did not resolve the wifi, and did not send someone to clean the dirty hot tub so we could enjoy it. Certainly did not expect to have these issues for the price paid, we would stay again if the host can guarantee the hot tub maintenance to be completed, as well as the internet issue fully resolved. Hopefully these two issues are resolved by the host quickly - as we enjoyed our stay otherwise.

Overall, the property was very nice, very clean. The kitchen was WELL stocked and had lots of fun activities for family/friends to engage in. I wish the property grounds by the river were cut so we didn’t have to wade through very tall grasses/weeds. Also-extra bath towels would have been great. But overall, those were minor inconveniences to a very nice VRBO.

The cabin was nice and cozy. Kitchen was great with everything labeled. Dog friendly. Not a kid friendly layout. There was no door to basement which was very dangerous. The yard was overgrown and hot tub was green upon arrival but the owner resolved these promptly. Washer was not level. Overall decent place to stay assuming you don't have small children.

Our stay at the Bear Creek Cabin was outstanding! The location was beautiful with the creek, trees, lightening bugs, and deer. The owners have done an awesome job of equipping the house with all of the essentials. It was our perfect home away from home for two weeks while our daughter showed horses at the near by Tryon International Equestrian Center.

So good we stayed again!

We had a wonderful time visiting in November so when we were coming back to the area in March we decided to stay at Bear Creek Cabin again.We love this property & location. Very clean, great amenities, excellent communication with the host, nothing negative to report. Highly recommend!

Cozy Cabin Getaway

The cabin is on a peaceful and private piece of land. It was clean and cozy! We enjoyed cooking, playing games, using the wood burning stove and relaxing in the hot tub. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and nice appliances. The showers were wonderful and had included soaps which was appreciated. We would suggest bringing your own pillows (but the beds are very comfortable!) and bringing ice as the ice maker wasn't functional. If you are looking to stay in the area we would definitely recommend this cabin!

GREAT CABIN, LOTS OF GREAT UPGRADES, AWESOME HOT TUB, PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO COOK, HAVE COFFEE, ETC. COMFORTABLE BED WHICH IS REALLY IMPORTANT AS WE HAVE STAYED AT OTHER VRBO'S WHERE THE BEDS WERE NOT A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE AND WON'T GO BACK BECAUSE OF IT. PROBABLY THE BEST VRBO WE'VE EVER BEEN TO. WILL DEFINATELY LOOK AT COMING BACK. VERY PEACEFUL PROPERTY. TONS OF ROOM.

Serene Creekside Family Hideaway

Our stay at the Bear Creek was absolute bliss! Nestled among towering trees and alongside a gentle creek. We had another home booked for a wedding that we were attending but it was heavily damaged from Hurricane Helene and we needed to find another home QUICK! I came across this home and it was everything we needed regarding size and sleeping arrangements. We were pleasantly surprised to learn it was only 7 minutes away from the wedding venue at Mountain Brook Vineyards. Couldn’t be any more convenient. Host was very responsive to questions and were a delight to work with. Home is beautiful and they have thought of everything to make your stay magical. Kitchen was well stocked and honestly can’t think of anything that we were missing. Beds were extremely comfortable, pillows were a little hollow but it’s hard to have the perfect pillow for everyone’s likes. Downstairs living room/game room was spacious and served as a bonus space for us. We were a family of 7 and everyone had their privacy and plenty of room. The wrap around porch was perfect to watch the sunrise and could’ve definitely spent more time out there if we had the time. Fire pit and hot tub were an added bonus and we enjoyed it. Plenty of firewood too. Loved the fact that there was so much acreage and couldn’t see any neighbors and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. This home far exceeded our expectations!! Loved everything about it!! *Can't Wait To Return!*

TIEC Convenient, comfortable and clean

The cabin was perfect for my clients and me to stay while showing at TIEC. Very spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable my dogs loved snuggling on the special blanket provided. I wish we had more time to enjoy the property. We will definitely book the next time we show there.

Great stay near Tryon

Thank you for hosting us! The home was cute and comfortable. The kitchen had tons of amenities. They provided an assortment of coffee, it was appreciated on such a hectic weekend at TIEC. They even had a kettle, and i wished I had brought my tea. The beds were comfortable. The low- Toxin soaps were appreciated. Loved having access to a washer and dryer, thank you! This was such a great place to go back and forth to TIEC. We'll definitely stay here again!

Great find to get away

We went away for the weekend, and the location was delightful. The children thoroughly enjoyed running around the property and playing foosball. The cabin was fully stocked with necessities, and we had an excellent time.
