Located approximately one mile from Sabino Canyon the house has 11+ foot ceilings in every room, with a wrap around veranda, an additional outdoor fire pit area, a pool (unheated), and a recently added hot tub. The house is extremely clean and with well appointed furniture.
During your stay at this holiday home, you'll be within walking distance of Ventana Canyon Golf and Racquet Club. Features include an outdoor pool, 1 hot tub and laundry facilities. A private pool and in-room jetted baths are available in the holiday home.

If I could give this home more than five stars, I would. We had a wonderful stay. The home is lovely, beautifully decorated, very nicely appointed, and incredibly comfortable. We loved the private backyard, especially having our morning coffee on the patio and by the fire pit while watching the birds and wildlife. The hot tub at night with the city lights was such a treat. The location was also very convenient to the grocery store and Sabino Canyon. Jerry and Joanne were warm and gracious hosts — responsive but not intrusive — and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches, including the games and puzzles they provided. A truly special place, and we would gladly stay again.

We had a wonderful time with our children and grandchildren over the holidays. The house was a perfect fit and the hosts, Jerry and Joanne, couldn’t have been more accommodating or responsive. Surrounded by nature and beauty, glorious sunsets and sunrises, and vistas in all directions - it’s where you want to be. Don’t hesitate.

My family and I spent Thanksgiving week at the house. The pictures do not do it justice - the interior flows well and is very spacious. The outdoor areas are well suited for their purposes and have great views. The house was spotless, and the furniture, linens etc very comfortable. We hosted a small group for dinner, and the kitchen has all equipment would could want. We did encounter a meaningful appliance issue during our stay, which the owner addressed immediately and was resolved in a realistic timeframe. Highly recommend.

Spacious and spectacular home base

We gathered our family here for a week to celebrate our 40th anniversary, and this home was perfect for us. Several inviting indoor and outdoor places to relax together? Check. Four spacious and comfortable bedrooms, so no one draws the "short straw"? Check. Well-equipped kitchen with high-quality appliances, cookware, dinnerware, and staples for our family of cooks? Check. Location near hiking in beautiful Sabino Canyon with groceries and restaurants a short walk away? Check. An exceedingly gracious, responsive host? Check. We had a lovely week together, exploring Tucson and enjoying each other's company, and this home facilitated that in every way. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful property and an excellent stay

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The host, Jerry, was very helpful and communicative during the stay. The information book provided at the house was very thorough and complete. The property is beautiful, very spacious, airy, with a lovely view of the desert and Catalina mountains through the many windows and from the outdoor veranda and grill/firepit area. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub during our stay, albeit the pool was a bit cool since it is unheated and the weather had not gotten hot yet. We did know that in advance, so that was not unexpected. Could not ask for a better stay in beautiful Tucson. We will definitely stay there again should the opportunity arise. Thanks to Jerry and JoAnne for sharing this beautiful property with us. Outstanding hosts and property!

Gorgeous Tucson Mansion in the Catalina foothills!

Property was gorgeous inside and out! Location was excellent, with amazingviews of the cactus filled mountains and the city at night! Short drive to sabanio hiking trails.Jerry was an excellent host! Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful, completely equipped home in the Catalina Foothills

The title says it all. Owner was very attentive but we didn’t have any issues. I highly recommend this property if you want to stay in this area. I especially liked the close proximity of restaurants and the grocery store

Golf week

Quiet Desert Oasis

A wonderfull place to enjoy our stay in Tucson

Every year our group of friends get together in Tucson to attend the Gem and Mineral shows. Jerry and Joanne shared their beautiful house with us. It is situated in a very private and scenic location in the foothills above Tucson. The indoor spaces were well furnished and the large windows created natural lighting in every room. The outdoor patios gave us great views of the Tucson valley in front and of the biological reserve in the back. Super nice! The pool was clean and ready for use and the hot tub was heated to 103. The house was very clean and tidy and everthing worked as needed. Jerry was easy to commuicate with and checked in with us to ensure that we had settled in. Overall, the house and and location served as a great base to explore the G&M shows. Thank you Jerry and Joanne!

Tucson visit

The house was fantastic. Everything was just as advertised and more. Jerry was accessible to us and responsive, but we didn't have any issues that required his involvement. The kitchen had everything we needed and the grill is high end. Grocery stores are nearby. Views from the home include the mountains as well as the lights of town. We hot tubbed every day after hiking and watched the super bowl on the 93 inch TV. We will definitely return to this home on our next visit to Tucson.

Perfect house for the Holidays.

Perfect house and location for my family holiday (8 adults). Walk to the grocery store and restaurants. 5 minutes to Sabino Canyon. Pool, hot tub and giant TV were great.

Lovely house, location, and views

The house was well equipped and had everything we needed. Mountain Views to the north and city views to the south added to our enjoyment. The only complaint I would suggest is that all the beds were not as comfortable as they could have been.
