Needs some repairs

Early checkin came at a price. Although the room was ready and did not seem to put anyone out. The fridge was not on and had to wait for it to cool. The reason it only gets a 3 star is the front door would not close and lock properly and the bathroom door was not able to close as the toilet was in the way! It was ok as far as clean. Bathtub water was running and did not shut off all the way. Bed was ok, It was not too noisy. It suited our 1 night stay but I would have asked to move if it were longer. The grounds looked good and I did not feel unsafe as someone had reviewed earlier.

The room was a room. Nothing bad, nothing special. The breakfast was ok. However, I advised the front desk that yogurt machine was either empty or not working. He said he would let someone know. After waiting for over 30 minutes, no one came. I went back to the front desk and they had a sign that they were away. We ended up leaving.

Bathroom and bed were clean. I was very happy to see that. The staff were very friendly and accommodating., including the kitchen lady. Shampoo and conditioner would like to have them bigger. The bottles were the size of of my thumb :-) Overall, it's a good place to go back!

I am an 80 year old female traveling by myself. I was given a second story room. I have serious issues with my shoulders, and I had to carry my luggage up to my room. I had a lot of pain on my first night stay. They said they could not give me a ground level room. I am not sure that was true, and no one offered to help with my luggage.

In for the Strolling Jim 40 miler. The lights at check-in are literally aimed in your eyes. They need to adjust those. That was painful. The check in person was not rude but not welcoming. I asked for a high floor away from elevator and ice machines but I don't think it was either put through or he ignored it. I asked to be away from the pool at least and he put us on the ground floor but it was away from the pool. We had a biker group near our room that stayed up late, and was very loud right outside our door. That didn't help. The room was average. An outlet and therefore the lamp and clock wasn't working, the bathroom was not horrible, the soaps were very low quality and smelled odd to us. We had brought our own in case so it was ok because of that. The toilet flushed, hot water worked, tv worked, mini-fridge worked, beds seemed clean so all the essentials were checked off. I'd stay somewhere else next time, though. This photo is not what the place looks like. The building is a lot darker and older than the editing.
