Please no smoking or open flames. Our desert could easily go up in flames and our location makes it especially hard for a fire truck to access it.
Please keep water level to mid skimmer while there so we don't burn out our spa motor. Please don't touch equipment in room. Please keep spa cover on

The house is in a spectacular location, a specialness in landscaping and design that makes it stand-out as a place to remember; an ambience of luxury. For those over 60, there are sudden steps up and down in and out of the house that need to be watched out for, but we loved being very close to the National Park and feeling separated from the rush of town life.

A beautiful, private retreat blended nicely into the natural surroundings. The photos do not do justice to the location and the view from this property. The house is perched on the hillside with sweeping views of the surrounding area. The large windows fill the house with natural light. Convenient to both the North and West entrances to Joshua Tree NP. Hard to imagine a better lodging experience in this area.

The view!! Wow! Very clean. Plenty of towels for bath and pool. Comfortable beds. Can't beat location for Joshua Tree NP. Jenny (host) responded immediately to texts. Check in and out a breeze. Had a lovely stay with my wife. The home has a great view and is very private on a hillside. A large great room and bedrooms. The outdoor area very nice to lounge in by the pool. The weather was not very hot and the pool was pretty cold because it is unheated. We would happily come stay here again.

Surprised to find out the property is pet-friendly. I wouldn’t have known, which is fantastic. It’s a great place with a lot of personality. Definitely one of my favorite houses I’ve ever stayed. Awesome location if you’re hiking in Joshua Tree - about 10-15 minutes from the west entrance and 5-10 from the north entrance. It has a super nice fireplace, which we didn’t use (we were in the hot tub) but appreciated nevertheless.

One of the best vacations we’ve had. The place is quiet, peaceful, and the ideal spot for relaxing. It has everything you might need. The amenities are amazing. The pool was perfect during the hot days (and the AC worked well too). The hot tub was ideal at sunset and beyond. The floor to ceiling windows showing the city lights at night and beautiful desert views during the day were amazing. The bedrooms were big and bathrooms had everything you need. All around it was ideal.

Perfect Desert Oasis

We were going on a mini vacation in the desert and were looking for a great home that would have a beautiful view, big windows and a pool. This house had it all! Amazing Anniversary Weekend

If you're looking for remote and private, this is the place. The morning sunrise lights up the house with amazing views of the desert. The host was very responsive and getting in and out was a breeze. Everything was clean, functional, and in good working order. We will book with Jenny again. Bring your pool floaties, cocktails, and relax in the sun for a quiet remote getaway!
