Not a safe place

The room was nice and comfy. The cleaning staff only came the first day we were there out of 3. We had so much built up trash it was gross. i had to be on constant alert when outside cause of the homeless and drug addicts all around the building and parking lot. There was no security at all there. My first night after driving 15 hours to arrive at 330am I was told my the night janitor I ran into in the parking lot while trying to find the entrance to the building that women arnt safe in the area and we should not go outside alone. It was just me and my daughter on the trip. I was told by the front desk it's a safe building cause no one can go up with out a key card yet other guests were constantly letting other people in the elevator without seeing their room card. The last day and a half I was there the while floor I was staying on smelt like marijuana. I had to pay $25 a night to park in the parking lots in the back of the building that had very small spots and no security at all. My car was dinged by other vehicles at least 7 times judging by the paint gouges chips in my paint on my new telsa! This was my first experience of Vancouver and I left a day early cause I just could not take it anymore. I constantly felt uneasy and unsafe. I will never go back to this city again due to it. I highly regret staying there!

The staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. The room was a good size and comfortable, unfortunately, we discovered a mouse in the room and a family of pigeons on the balcony, which could have used some sprucing up i.e. bird mess on the furniture and floor. The large glass doors needed replacing from the room to the balcony. Overall not as expected from a Best Western Plus hotel. We look forward to your response to this review.

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much! Our flight arrived a couple hours before check in time but the staff was amazing and so helpful, we were able to check in before 4pm so thank you for that! We had a pretty sweet view of the English Bay and short walk to many restaurants, convenience stores, coffee shops, a little bit of everything. The only downside is that the carpet had a very strong (bad, dirty) smell of Clorox.

The location, near English Bay and lots of shops and restaurants was good - but it was incredibly noisy, and our hotel windows didnt completely shut because of the poor installation of the AC, so we heard every argument, drunk fighting, sirens, etc.

The room was clean and average in comfort. But it was very noisy. Between other guests and street noise, it was very hard to get good rest or relax.

Great location for public transportation and walking! The room was small but perfect for our needs. The area had everything you could Need -to trendy restaurants to grocery stores and more. The onsite pub looked fun and the food smelled great but we never got a chance to go in. I would stay here again!
