Beautiful property, friendly staff, comfortable beds. We were on 4th floor and were woken at 7am by very loud construction banging of some sort on the floor beneath us. So that was very disappointing because it continued for a few hours and we could not get back to sleep.

I had an unpleasant experience during check-in at this hotel. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, I spent an additional 20 minutes at the check-in counter. The staff member assisting me was uncommunicative and dismissive. After verifying my ID and processing my payment, he did not say a word to me—he simply focused on his computer. Then I asked him, is their any problems? he waited approximately 30 seconds before responding, stating that he was trying to find a room for me. Another staff member then joined him at the computer, and after further delay, I was finally handed a key. I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism and customer service. Given Fairmont’s reputation as a high-end hotel, I expected a much higher standard of service. I hope this matter is addressed to ensure a better experience for future guests.
