The overall stay was good, and have no major complaints, however i do really want to clarify that this is an OUTDOOR ACCESS property. To my understanding, hotels are indoor access, and motels are outdoor access. I did see pictures of the property before booking, and took it as having both, but thats not the case. Just an important thing to be completely aware of, especially if youre a solo traveller/female traveller. As for the facilities itself, it was clean and had nice space, but there was some cracks here and there in the foundation which made me a bit worried about little visitors, but thankfully there were none! There wasnt a safe in the room, so i opted to keep important docs on hand instead of leaving them in the room. The breakfast was not that great in my opinion. They had a pancake machine which was cool, and different juices and coffees, but the rest of the food selection was not amazing. If youre just looking for.a small bite in the morning and dont care what it is, then itll be fine. Im grateful it was something they provided though. You can hear the cars driving through the area through the window facing the main street. The commute from the hotel to downtown van was very easy though (like most of van). From downtown to the hotel, the bus gets off right in front of the property which was really nice. Overall, not a bad stay. Personally wouldnt stay again as a female/solo traveller but by all means its not a horrible place.

Convenient, quiet stay in North Vancouver

Staff was helpful and friendly, including breakfast lady. My room was in very nice shape, and temperature control was OK. There is no elevator to the second floor, so getting a heavy suitcase with work tool inside was a little challenging. Breakfast food was continental and good, but there were no hot entrees. Location was quiet, and convenient for driving to good restaurants and scenic areas. Exterior of the hotel was in need of refreshment.

I have stayed here before and although the property 8s clean and staff are great, they have started letting the place get run down. The beds are hard and lumpy as are the pillows - difficult on a bad back. There are charging ports for electronics either. Needs a serious renovation. Having said that the dront desk was wonderful and the lady at breakfast was very helpful.
