It's a very pleasant, comfortable place to stay with very nice inn keepers. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The views around the motel are beautiful...and you are very close to wonderful hiking trails and ski resorts.

The room was spotless and I have all the space I need to be extremely comfortable. The host and hostess have gone out of their way to make me comfortable. The motel is surrounded by gorgeous views of the mountains and there are shops nearby for anything anyone might need. The motel is a wonderful place to stay and rest. I highly recommend the Appalachian Motel. Definitely a 5 star experience.

It was conveniently situated motel and had all I need. I would probably stay again. Bathroom products (shampoo/conditioners) not in adequate quantities, bring your own. The same for coffee: large coffee pot for one tiny coffee baggie. The driveway to the motel was very dangerous to access or leave.

Everything was dirty. Bed sheets, comforters, bathroom and even the towels. The beds were the worst, visible stains. My buddy had a bug in his bed...which made us rip apart the entire bed and make sure we were in the clear. Owners were nice, but man this place is dirty. Only good thing was the shower water pressure and the AC/Heat worked good lol.

Absolutely terrible customer service. My party has the flu and think everybody would much rather not have somebody who is sick on the premises. I have been trying for two days to cancel my reservation and whenever somebody actually does answer the phone the guy just yells at you and hangs up on you. I am now stuck paying the fees because nobody on the other side knows how to answer a phone. I will tell anybody and everybody I know to never stay here.
