The room was very clean. Exactly as listed, and perfect for our short stay visiting family. Room was very comfortable, and well stocked with all the essentials. Lovely relaxing place to stay outside the bustle of Madison. We appreciated having real cups and glasses available as well as bottled water and a few snacks too. The screened in gazebo is a treasure. It was great to be able to park right outside our door too.

Short weekday getaway

This property was perfect for our little getaway to check out UW-Madison and the surrounding areas for just a couple days. The place had so many extra amenities that were available, and Marca was welcoming and kind if we needed anything. Perfect for a couple’s trip!

We had a great time. The room is small but it was clean and had everything we needed. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the pool very much and the property is beautiful. We will be coming back next year.

Exceptional Hospitality!

The location was rural but very close to town. The room had a separate entrance and I felt very welcome even with my two dogs. It was a very cosy arrangement and there were a lot of thoughtful additions such as a clean bathrobe and (brand new) slippers. There was even an extra dog bed if I would have needed it. I really enjoyed my stay.

Nice to have a place that accepts dogs - nice yard to take the dogs for walks. Room was fine, but there was a lot of dirt/grit on the floor when we checked in; we asked for a broom and swept it ourselves. The room also felt musty/muggy the entire visit event with AC running. The advertised pool was closed for maintenance the entire visit. The overall rating would be "okay."

Lovely spot!

Space is clean, property is very pretty! Pool wasn’t ready for use, but can imagine it would add even more to the a summer stay! Owner is easy to communicate with. Ran into severe weather - owners were welcoming and ensured we were safe at all times. We will definitely be back to visit again!
