Superb staff and amenities like game room with big TV, popcorn, foosball etc. within 10 min drive to downtown area and free parking. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and overall a pleasant stay with kids.

For the price, it was perfect for our 2 day trip. Nice to have a common room and outdoor pool. Everything was clean. We had booked another hotel first but then changed to the Vic because it was $125 less per night and I'm sure we had just as good of an experience. Only minor issue is that the individual room air conditioners are a bit loud. Otherwise perfect and close to town.

I would give a 5 star when it comes to friendly staff and good service, excellent parking with under ground, spacious parking lot. a Big shout out to the Manager- Christopher/Chris for excellent costumer service. Will definitely recommend this hotel to our family & friends and will book for future travel in Victoria.

Nice hotel, however paper thin walls. Washing laundry is a mess, buy pods in lobby (credit card only), told to get change from liquor store for machines (which DONT operate with coins…) No restaurants to eat within 4-5 blocks. But, place is ok.

Generally, it was ok - but at $400 plus per night it was way over priced. This should have been around $250 a night at most. The room was tight - could not even pull out the chair at the desk and the air conditioner was so loud only ran it when we were not in the room. The bathroom was good - the shower was nice and the sink was located outside the bathroom so could use the bathroom privately. The housekeeping was ok - Sometimes we would not get any face clothes. Also parts of the area around the TV were stained. The room looked old and tired. The area outside the balcony was disgusting. Again at $250 a night I would not have complained but at $400 plus a night it was not justified. Also the location is not great - way out of the downtown area and not close to anything. On the weekend parking is at a premium in the evening.

The bathroom door was not moving. It was moldy near its feet. Also you can see the person talking in shower from outside whixh was just surprising to me. we were travelling with family so this was a terrible room. We just had to ask each other to wait until we took shower. The balcony doors were stuck. Staff at checknin was very nice. I had no time to complain or change rooms as we were there only for 6-7 hours

Nice stay

Very nice and clean hotel, friendly staff, nicely designed rooms with lots of power outlets. In room coffee. One small drawback, we had an room adjoining to another with a door that was screwed close. There was still a gap under the door resulting in bad soundproofing. You could hear neighbours TV and phone conversations. We told reception and asked for towels to roll up and "soundproof". Tovels were promptly delivered. Very nice hotel, a bit off from city center but with a car it doesn't matter, only a 6 min drive. I would certainly return and would recommend The Vic to others.
