Disappointed

Room was a small corner room with a very strange arrangement of furniture and TV. Could deal with that but was not acceptable was the loud noise that made it hard to relax and sleep. Our room was set up if someone wanted adjoining rooms. There was a door with a small hallway in-between our room and the room next door. But all you had to do was just unlock the door and enter that small hallway. Unfortunately the room next to us had children that were very loud and played in that hallway. Worse than that is we kept hearing what we thought was a drum band playing outside. Inquired at the front desk. Turns out it was the cleaning service running the washer and dryer which was located above our room. The room was just not quiet at all and we could hear everything going on in the room next to us.

This hotel had no recycling facilities (e.g., recycle bins in dining area or in-room recycling). The hotel should invest that will save money on refuge collection.

The location was very convenient for auto and public transit. There were many options within a 15 min drive. Housekeeping was an issue as we did not have our room cleaned all day and only say housekeeping person when we got back in the late afternoon. At which time she only offered some towels.

Always like Embassy Suites for their expansive accommodations, and the happy hour and breakfast. Did enjoy happy hour, although appetizers were marginal. The hotel was hosting a very large group of college baseball players, plus many families hoping for cherry blossoms, which made breakfast extremely busy and hectic, which was unusual. Accommodation was fine, however my husband found the shower small and awkward, with difficult access to amenities.

This was a great hotel for families very easy to commute to DC metro station was in walking distance most restaurants were in walking distance I would definitely stay again the breakfast was definitely a plus.
