Epic Maui Adventure On a Shoestring Budget

Come Explore Maui in this powerful, automatic, 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Kenji comes fully stocked with all the camping gear you need, at no extra cost. We even throw in a pop up tent for sleeping outside.

Heads up: All drivers must:
* Pay our $15 per day insurance and roadside assistance fee
* Have your own primary car insurance or purchase daily coverage with
RentalCover
* Have a valid driver's license
* Be at least 23years of age

The space: Kenji Is amazing for groups of 2, and can easily handle groups of 4 if you are willing to pack light. We throw in an extra ground tent for sleeping outside.


*Kenji is equipped with a
1. rooftop tent (500 lb weight capacity/ladder weight capacity: 250 lb) with built in mattress that comfortably sleeps 2-3.
2. Pillows, sheets, blankets, beach towels, kitchen towels
3. Sturdy folding table with 2 benches
5. 2 beach chairs
6. Sweet blowup hammock
7. 1 soft cooler/1 hard cooler
8. A camp stove w/ propain
9. 1 pot, 1 pan, 1 coffee percolator
10. Cooking utensils and silverware
11. cups, bowls, plates

15. Headlamps/ battery powered lanterns

Guest access:
Our location is an easy 10-15 minute Uber/Lyft from Kahului Airport (OGG) We are usually available to hand you the keys, and answer any questions at the time of pick up. In rare cases, we may have you self check-in with a lockbox code.

Camping Around Maui

Car and tent were super clean and well taken care of. My siblings and I had a great time traversing the island in the jeep. The cooking set up served us well at all the campsites, as did the provided bedding and beach towels. An added bonus - the gas tank is huge and we only had to fill up twice. It was easy to connect phones to the CarPlay, although we’d recommend anyone who’s a big phone user to bring some more portable chargers - there aren’t a lot of campsites that have places to charge (big shocker) although the provided charging block did nicely in a pinch.The hosts were lovely and responsive, we would highly recommend booking with them! Thank you!

Everything was great! Room for my kiteboarding gear. Rooftop rent was easy to use and very comfortable. Everything for camping I needed was provided. I even used the pop up ground tent one night.

A great time!

We really loved our two days with the jeep camper and the chance to see a different side of Maui. We loved how everything was included, and the coffee we made with the espresso maker and propane stove was the best coffee we had on Maui. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Jeep has everything you need!

Renting this jeep and rooftop tent was fantastic! We booked 2 campsites along the road to Hana. They sent us an info package with helpful information on how to book the sites. They also helped us sort out insurance. There is everything you need to camp- dishes, stove, propane, cooler, fold up table, camping chairs, tarps, lanterns, sunshade, guide book, battery pack and more! The only thing I would recommend bringing is an extra thermarest or foamie for sleeping on (the one supplied in the rooftop tent is not super comfortable). Overall, renting this jeep with the rooftop tent was such a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend renting from these guys. They are so helpful and everything was super easy. A fantastic way to experience Maui!
