Very close to the train & walkable/ or you could rent scooters to many surrounding areas like restaurants, & the national mall. The hotel itself is good, daytime staff are very kind. Night time staff are a bit rude. The rooms are not sound proof, heard people in the room next to us yelling & slamming the door closed back to back one night. Also the hotel itself is a bit outdated in certain areas like the restroom, TV. But it was cozy, pretty clean, & easy check-in/check-out.

This is not an luxury hotel

First room had huge stains and asked to move. First they said no more rooms. I got mad went down and suddenly room appeared. Old hotel slow elevators… Had stains in blanket as well. Called and asked to change. They sent the house keeper. Find out next morning it was same stained blanket. How can you call yourself luxury four stars hotel. This was worst than holiday inn

The people were very sweet and accommodating. The room had a slight smell to it but the people at the front desk were quick to send someone up to spray the room for us. It was nice coming back after walking all day and you had fresh clean towels and a made bed. The room we were in was in a little hallway right next to our neighbors room. Our neighbors slammed the door a lot early in the morning (not the hotels fault) but if you get that room it’s definitely not sound proof, you’ll be able to hear everything. In all it was a nice stay.

The hotel it’s at a great location. The hotel is very clean and smells great. The downside is that the breakfast in the restaurant we found it to be expensive. Also I believe even though the bathroom is very clean it could use a remodel. But overall I would chose it again.

The location is perfect – close to the white house and other nearby attraction, public transportation, yet peaceful and quiet at night. I especially love the bed it was nice and comfortable. strong Wi-Fi, beautiful views, great service at the front desk. The only thing I would say it needs is a breakfast bar. Obviously is a historic hotel so they have some details that they can work on like the wallpaper peeling from the walls and some other details. They need too check the shower vents for clog of dust inside the vent. When your taking a shower and look up thats the first thing people are going to see, The curtain wand was broken in half, Carpet cleaning, TV cabinet door for the fridge needs fixing.
