Nice, clean hotel and staff were very friendly. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance and Lyft was quick and easy if not. Everything was of convenience. Would stay here again.

Clean room, friendly staff, location is very walkable to lots of other restaurants, bars & attractions. Only downside was one of the elevators was out of order which caused longer than normal wait times when coming & going, but that’s minor in the grand scheme of things.

Great location 3 minutes bike ride from the whitehouse, comfortable bed, friendly staff, good breakfast 24 hr coffee and evening fresh baked cookies! The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because it’s valet parking only, and it’s terribly expensive with tax $66 nightly.

The staff were wonderful. Our main issues was the A/C. Our first morning we woke up to A/C not working and we were all sweating. We reported it and they said they would have someone look at it. When we returned that evening, it appeared to be working but then we woke up the next morning sweating again and the room at 79 degrees. Reported it again and they offered to send up the engineer however I asked for another room. The staff moved us immediately which we appreciated. The next room worked fine but that was our last night. The pillows are very flat and mattresses aren’t very comfortable The location is wonderful and access to sightseeing so easy with the metro

The mediocrity behind the facade

This is a mediocre hotel with beautiful photos housed behind a beautiful facade. They appear to have done well on some things; the room I was in was perfectly clean, the service was fine, etc. but the food was mediocre to poor and the bed frame moved and made noises. Also, decision-makers need to get with the 21st century. Having no place to fill a water bottle and offering bottled water at the front desk is not a good look for ecology.

My biggest complaint is the elevator situation. It was constantly either working or not, and after a long day of walking around the Mall and museums, the last thing we wanted to do was climb nine floors up to our room. Other than that everything was on point.

Booked this hotel on the last minute for one night. It was ok. The air-conditioning in our room was not working great. The window opened but there wan no screen and we were by a full dumpster so flies prevented us from keeping window open. Pool was super small and a little dirty.

Free continental breakfast on a daily was convenient given the limited restaurants around the area. Walking distance to main tourist attractions and a 2 minute walk to my training site. Would definitely stay here again.
