Buyer Beware - Security Issue

Weโ€™re seasoned travelers and VRBO customers! Nice apartment in fair-sketchy DC area. Booked 4 nights for Thanksgiving, night #2, awakened at 3:45am with a family standing in apartment! A duplicate reservation with code to building and apartment issued! Called VRBO and owner (Mary Stays-Siem) agrees to $350 refund (two nights) with VRBO recording call. However, one month later weโ€™re still waiting for refund from Mary Stays and/or VRBO! Buyer Beware!
