Can’t beat this 3 bed, 2.5 bath in Old Town. Location is fantastic, walkable to all of Old Town and the Metro. Accommodations are super comfortable and well appointed. Off-street parking for one car and ample free street parking available on weekends. Will definitely stay again.

This is a lovely home with a great location in Alexandria. It is about a 10 minute easy walk from the King St. Metro and very close to many restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Please check out Hard Times Cafe! The house was exactly what we expected. The kitchen had all the items needed for our cooking needs and there is a very nice place to sit outside and enjoy a fire or to grill. Communicating with the host was great. He was very attentive and answered all of our questions quickly. I would definitely stay here again if we get back to the DC area.

The bedrooms are adorable and the location is perfect. Quick walk to metro and quick walk to bars and restaurants. Plenty of coffee nearby and perfect neighborhood for walking my dog each day! Host was very communicative and it was very easy to figure everything out for check-in/check-out.

Great location for a bigger family. This house was just right for our family of 6. We particularly liked the easy walk to the Metro station, a nearby CVS and Whole Foods for quick essentials, a kitchen with everything needed to make dinner after a day exploring DC, a washer and dryer, and the off-street parking.

The property was cozy, meet all our needs, superClose to downtown Alexandria with all the wonderful shopping and restaurants. Our request for early check in was accommodating and when we had questions Philip was quick to respond and help. We’d stay again.

The property was clean and conveniently located. The property needs some updates and repairs. The furniture was uncomfortable and the beds need toppers because they were not comfortable. Some of the lamps were in poor condition as well. The property owner was easy to communicate with and accommodating by allowing us to drop our bags off before check-in. If you are a light sleeper, beware of the street noise at night because it gets pretty loud. We enjoyed our stay with family but would not stay again unless some of these things were taken care of.

Great location for this 3-bedroom property. Comfortably accommodated 6 adults and an infant. One parking spot included but plenty of street parking right in front of the building and on the side streets. Will definitely stay again when back in the area.

Our stay was great. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped for preparing meals, and there was ample parking both on the street and behind the building. Communication was easy and quick, and Philip’s proactive check-in to ensure everything went smoothly was much appreciated. The location is ideal for visiting Washington, DC, with the added benefit of a charming and highly walkable Alexandria neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Great location to explore Alexandria. Short walk to the Metro to go into DC and other area destinations like Arlington. Walking distance to several restaurants and shopping. The kitchen was a little dated and if you need it for family meals it is tight quarters.

Great place to stay. A fantastic value with plenty of places to eat in walking distance and the metro is relatively close. Like staying in a piece of history as the place has been around, but very well maintained and clean. The stairs are narrow, but that is what you get in a place that old. Stayed with my wife and 4 kids and we all loved it. There is also a GIGANTIC TV which was perfect form when we had already walked 18,000 steps and needed to crash. short version: Loved it!!

The location was great and close to a Metro stop. The house was charming and functional overall! The sleeper sofa was unsleepable and parking only accommodated one car. There are two flights of stairs to get to the third bedroom and bathroom. Overall, it was a great stay but it did not comfortably accommodate 8 people.

We had a wonderful stay! Philip was always available and helpful. The property was clean and very accommodating for our needs. I loved the historic feel of the townhome. We enjoyed many different restaurants in the area. My daughter and I especially loved being about a block from Midnight Treats Cookie Shop! The metro was close and we used it to get in and out of DC while we hit up all the sites on our list. We even took it to the airport when we left.

Loved staying in this historical home. Plenty of space and loved visiting the store fronts and learning about its history. Also, need to have good knees to get up two flights of stairs where the bedrooms are.

Great location for a trip to DC

We had a great time here. The house is perfectly situated in Old Town Alexandria and is perfect for a family trip or a weekend getaway. We walked down King Street every day and it’s very close to the metro or a short drive into DC. Philip is a great host and we had everything we needed.
