Please note, at present, the VRBO system is not yet designed to automatically exempt bookings from taxes based on the length of stay (i.e., 30 nights or more), even in jurisdictions where such stays may legally qualify for tax exemption.

As a workaround, for any reservation of 30 nights or longer, the guest may contact VRBO after checkout to request a full refund of the taxes paid, provided the local regulations confirm the exemption. The VRBO team will be happy to assist with the refund process at that time.
