Welcoming. We had a group of 9 and would have loved to have another couch or a lazy boy rocker/recliner and comfy chair. We had a 1 year old used to being rocked to sleep, so we moved one of the outdoor rockers into the house for bedtime. Our stay was not so much a vacation as a family reunion, so we spent most of our time and meals at my brother's house across the lake on North Shore Rd. We had to drive to his place to do a pontoon boat ride as water at the vrbo's dock was too shallow and he didn't want to risk tearing up bottom of his pontoon. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking/serving food but we did not need anything other than coffee mugs and forks and spoons and one fry pan for our breakfast. The VRBO did have coffee, filters, sugar but we used our own coffee. Kitchen also appeared to be stocked with common spices for cooking. We did not get a chance to use game room above the garage, it did look inviting or the firepit area, again spent our days at my brother's home only came back to vrbo to sleep. Greg, the host, answered any questions we had by the end of the day. We were not familiar with this key lock but finally figured out how to lock up when we checked out. If you plan a larger group know seating is limited for dining indoors and watching TV. Note, arrive early to hit the grocery store, it closes at 5:00 p.m. We were about 45 minute drive to Mall of America, which was on the bucket list for half of our group who had never been there. We will return.
