We had a NOT good experience.I waited at the front desk to check out.I had to track down the attendant. I could tell she was not happy with me about that. Apparently there was a sign that stated where she was but I missed it.She was quick to point the sign out with an attitude “theres a sign! And you can just drop your keys here”.I apologized that I did not see the sign and that I didn’t want to just drop my keys as I wanted a receipt (which I still never received) and wanted to discuss a very serious situation that happened with our room.The full length mirror fell off the wall from the top part (still connected at the bottom) and it hit my 3yr old Grandson.Luckily it did not hurt him badly.I was able to catch it before it fully took him down. I’m very glad that it didn’t break on him. That would of been a horrific situation. The front desk attendant was very rude and insensitive.I did not get her name. She was young, approximately 17yrs old.I told her what happened and she just said the mirrors are bolted to the wall. I said well not very well! As I do have a picture of the shotty job someone did trying to hang it. When I told her that, she just shrugged “ It’s not like they are heavy or anything anyways”.I don’t care how light something is- when it falls from a distance and with force, it’s going to hurt.I didn’t appreciate being treated like that bringing up a SERIOUS safety concern.We also had to go out for Breakfast, as we were told to leave. Don't waste your $

It is a fine hotel for an overnight stay. We had tickets for the theater and just wanted a decent place to sleep after. Beds comfortable, sheets clean. Room was clean but you could tell it is dated and it did have a bit of a stale smell. Free breakfast was the basic cold stuff and a waffle maker.

Hotel is comfy with helpful staff. The pool was really cold, but the breakfast was nice. Overall, a nice stay, especially for the price.

We always enjoy our stay at this hotel when we are in Wausau. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. The pool area is also nice and well maintained.
