🚗 Park next to the Airstream on the far end, furthest from the street. Maximum 2 vehicles due to fire lane safety rules. Do not block the driveway entrance or the front area; the neighbor has an easement and needs that space clear.

The Neighborhood:

Located in the heart of Welches, this peaceful forested area puts you minutes from Mt. Hood’s best offerings—whether you’re heading to Timberline for skiing, Salmon River for hiking, or the local market for a bottle of wine. You’re a short drive from restaurants, shops, and outdoor outfitters. Skibowl is about 10 minutes away, Government Camp about 15, Timberline about 25, and Trillium Lake is a short drive.

Getting Around:

🚶 Walking — This mountain retreat is nestled in the Mt. Hood area, surrounded by nature.



🚗 Driving — A car is recommended for getting around. The area is well connected via US-26. Free parking at the property.



🏔️ Recreation — Minutes from Mt. Hood ski resorts, hiking trails, and the Sandy River. Welches has the closest groceries and dining, with the larger town of Sandy about 20 minutes west for a full grocery run and supplies.



✈️ Airport — PDX is approximately 60–75 minutes by car via US-26 West.



Other Things to Note:

• Yard is not fenced — please supervise pets or children

• This listing includes the ADU, detached suite, and Airstream lounge; ask about booking the adjacent log cabin for groups up to 14

• Maximum 6 guests and no parties or events

• This property is special to our family—please treat it like your own

• The layout here is unique --- the main ADU houses the living room, dining room, a full bathroom and upstairs is the private King bedroom. The "detached" 2nd bedroom has its own door less than 10' away from the ADU front door - inside is a Queen bed and a private bathroom with full size walk-in shower & laundry machines. The Airstream is parked in front of these areas, on the property, along with the hot tub area. The Airstream can sleep 2 comfortably with a basic kitchenette and lockable door.

10 PM - 7 AM (building + city ordinance)



🚭 No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.



Interaction with Guests:

We're available by message anytime and respond as quickly as we can. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
