This beautifully appointed vintage home offers sweeping panoramic views, exceptional privacy, and a serene atmosphere. Comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests, it’s perfect for families or groups seeking refined comfort and quiet luxury.

Accessed by a private hillside cable car, the journey up becomes part of the experience—creating a true sense of exclusivity from the moment you arrive.

Ideally located near the city centre, with 20mins walking distance to Oriental Bay and many of Wellington’s most iconic attractions. On a warm day, simply head down for a swim and enjoy the ocean just moments from your doorstep.

Perched midway up the hillside, the home is surrounded by nature. You’ll feel closely connected to the outdoors—so occasional small insects are a normal part of the natural environment.

1.5 Bathrooms: One full bathroom plus an additional separate toilet for added convenience.

Sleeping Area: Originally designed as a grand suite, this level now features a comfortable bedroom plus a queen-sized bed in a secondary living space to accommodate additional guests.
Grand Bathroom: A large spa-style bathroom designed for two people to use simultaneously.
The View: Soak in the bathtub while enjoying stunning mountain views—an unforgettable sunset experience.

Private Garage: Secure double garage suitable for 2 standard cars, or 1 small van and 1 small car.

Guest Access

Guests have full access to the entire house and garage, except for a few locked storage rooms.

Other Things to Note

The house features large windows. When exposed to direct sunlight, the interior can become warm if all windows are closed.To cool the house down quickly and maintain a comfortable temperature, please keep the windows open when needed.

Access to the property is via a private cable car, which is a truly unique feature of this home and part of the overall experience.Please note that this access may not be suitable for elderly guests or anyone with knee injuries, mobility issues, or difficulty with stairs and uneven terrain.For safety reasons, all guests must strictly follow the operating instructions when using the cable car. Any misuse, negligence, or violation of the usage guidelines may result in significant repair costs or compensation liability.

Finding small insects in the rooms is completely normal, as this villa is nestled in the hills and surrounded by nature. Being close to the outdoors, occasional sightings of insects are a natural part of the environment and do not affect the comfort or safety of the home.
