Had to carry heavy suitcases up many steps from Lampton Quay - not a good start! Fridge not working in room - we had to wait for someone to sort this. Room was adequate - bathroom needs renewing as white with limescale. Room was noisy as we had to keep windows open

I appreciated how spacious it was, and my window view. But the walls were thin and young people were partying loud on Saturday night. The room was old, dated. Dining table wasn’t sturdy and wobbled, bathroom trash didn’t open, only a few sky TV channels worked, and my bathroom sink was covered in someone else’s hair when I arrived. The shower was also covered in hair. Not the cleanest and the bed was uncomfortable, gave me back pain. Friendly staff, nice sized gym, and downtown was a relatively easy walk. They offered fresh milk and plenty of tea bags and instant coffee packs. Included a microwave and small refrigerator.

Room was clean and comfortable, however if we stayed another night I would have asked to be moved, as the lift could be heard going up/down all night. We were the closest room to the lift. Check in was easy including the car, staff were all helpful and friendly.

Rooms are tired. Surprisingly much smaller than expected. Pillows were awful, worst I've ever had tbh, which was a shame because the bed was very comfortable. And the curtains have moths damage, again a first I've ever seen in a hotel room Location is perfect for easy commute around the city centre. Reception staff so friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping very accommodating. Price reflects its central location.
