Check in and check out was done through text message. We did not see anyone while we were there. They texted us a code for our room. So if you are someone that needs face to face service this isn't the place for you. I, however, didn't mind that at all! The room was lovely, the view of the harbor was perfect, the bed was super comfortable, the shower had hot, hot water, and the room was very clean. Only minor complaints would be that the room didn't have AC and that apparently the toilets are bolted the toilet in the adjacent room. So when my husband was in the bathroom he heard and felt someone in the adjacent room sit down and use the bathroom. They did have a fan in the room which we used. We like a very cold room and we were comfortable. Great stay!

The Salt Water Inn was such a a wonderful little inn with a cozy and clean esthetic, and wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. My Mr. and I stayed there for our deep Sea fishing charter adventure and it was a 4 minute walk to our charter. This was incredibly convenient being that we were departing at 4am. Highly recommend The Salt Water Inn!

Redecorated rooms and bathrooms are nicely done. Comfortable rooms and bed. 2nd floor. Chose view over Marina. Can sit outside next to new lunch-dinner restaurant at motel. King size bed. Motel right next to beach tower, jetty and huge walkable beach. And right in quaint tiny Westport. Main Street of 2-3 restaurants. One breakfast. Nice two day stay. Only con is that the walls are thin so at times can hear voices or tv. Guests are very respectful so visit was quiet and relaxing.

The view and location was great. But when we entered we noticed ear plugs and thought it was for boats.. No it’s because the walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors tv or whatever’s going on?? The room was smaller than expected tiny bathroom. Our bed was very soft we like em firmer. The in room electric led fireplace was cool and got the room very warm. Can’t speak for the insight restaurant it ran outta food by 9pm Saturday night.. ? The look out pier is across the street with great beach access down the walkway past the rocks 100yrds . All the shops are within 5-10 minute walk including all piers. The Best Booody Mary and service was at the Knotty pine bar Highly recommend. Merriks seafood window was great the whole crab was so fresh. The Richard’s doughnuts wa huge and delicious. The lighthouse was down the way Wow what a great place to visit( careful of vertigo) the marina piers and fresh seafood was a wonderful experience we already are planning on coming back.

The room was very clean and updated, the walls are super thin so you hear all of your neighbors conversations etc. The boats are right outside your window but not loud. You can tell they are still working on some remodeling as there is stuff stacked up and kind of cluttery All in all we would stay again, just know your room is not silent.
