Beach view was good although from a small window at the top of the building. The room had been recently refurbished and was a really good size. The young man in reception was very welcoming and friendly. A good stay for a very reasonable price. Shower base needs some attention .

I have nothing to complain about at all. The room was a really great size, bed was comfortable, climate control very good (we like it air conditioned), and the bathroom is very modern and spacious.

It was quite a quaint hotel with lots of opportunity for socialising and very helpful staff, however the rooms were quite crammed, the floor very uneven and sloping and Im pretty sure we got a standard room not the large room we paid for (according to the pictures)

Having worked here 27 years ago, it was nice to go back and stay. Brought back memories of the great staff I worked with and enjoyed working there. Room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was nice. View from window you could see the ocean and boat harbour. The room was clean apart from a few stains on the carpet. Also the bathroom had no curtains or blinds at the window. Being on the third floor it wouldn’t have bothered me but there was a big wheel ride outside and anyone sitting on the ride could have seen in!! I had to put a towel up to hide my modesty. The lift broke down Monday night or Tuesday morning, which I would imagine was difficult for the more elderly stayers. I did enjoy my stay in Weymouth. Even though I was only there a few days, I found plenty to do.

First room we booked was filthy, mouldy and with broken features (e.g. shower). Complained and was taken to another room, which was filthy and mouldy. Asked for refund and not given. Have complained to trading standards.

Not worth the cost

There are many options for things to do on Weymouth for all ages however our stay at the Fairhaven hotel wasn't the best. The staff themselves were great although the room wasn't great at all. The bed wasnt comfortable and we didn't have hot water in our room on our first morning having ran the tap in the sink and the shower for 15+ mins.
