There is a comfortable seating area and a Smart TV, great for relaxing and watching Netflix if you have a subscription. The ideal place to unwind after a day out at the beach.

Enjoy a lazy breakfast or tasty evening meal in the dining area, which is furnished with a table and two dining chairs, with two further folding chairs available. Or better still, why not get a takeaway or visit some of the amazing local seafood restaurants and let the cook have a night off? The twin bedroom has full size single beds, plus a good sized wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and a dressing table with mirror, so you can get ready to hit the town. There is also a master bedroom with a comfortable double bed. Both bedrooms have blackout blinds for your comfort.

Whilst visiting Whitby you can take a stroll through the cobbled ‘old town’ to discover a plethora of boutique shops. Whitby is known for its jet (a black gemstone formed from compressed, prehistoric trees!) and there are some fine artisan jewellers here, as well as antique shops, an old fashioned sweet shop and The Smokehouse - the kippers here taste amazing!

Other small fishing towns along the Heritage Coast include Staithes, Robin Hood’s Bay and Sandsend with its pretty seafront cafés. Further south, dramatic Flamborough Head with its gleaming white chalk cliffs which drop sheer into the North Sea, is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest, a photographer’s dream.
