Located in the centre to the town centre, the ground floor apartment is within walking distance of all that Whitby has to offer. Knight Retreat really does have everything you’ll need for a relaxing break by the sea.



The Space:

You’ll instantly feel at home in Knight Retreat. The open plan living and kitchen area is made up of a comfy sofa and a flat screen TV. Snuggle up with your loved one and relax after a long day of exploring Whitby.



Fully equipped, the kitchen has everything you need for your self-catering stay by the sea. With modern appliances, cutlery and crockery, this space is immaculate and bright.



Head straight out of the french doors from the living area, and you’ll find a private patio with seating for you both. Kick back and enjoy the fresh sea air.



The bathroom is contemporary and spotless with sleek grey tiles and ultra-modern fittings. It features a shower, wash basin and WC for your convenience.



The bedroom is a calming and clean space. With a comfortable double bed, you’ll feel relaxed in no time. The room also boasts a wall-mounted flat screen TV, perfect for retiring to bed early in the evening or for a chilled morning cuppa.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the apartment are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.



Free on-street parking is available nearby on a first come, first served basis.



The Neighborhood:

Knight Retreat is located right in the centre of Whitby so you’ll have all the amenities you need right on your doorstep. On the west side of town, Venture along Pier Road and you’ll see arcades and shops, plus plenty more pubs and restaurants. Keep walking and you’ll reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff beach which is lined with beach huts. Take a stroll along the pier and watch the waves lap the shores below.



Head over the swing bridge which crosses the River Esk and you’ll find yourself on the east side of Whitby. Climb the famous 199 steps and you’ll arrive at the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.



Getting Around:

Whitby town centre is a short stroll from Knight Retreat.



Whitby train station is less than 5 minutes away on foot so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.



There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
