Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but the room was really hot, when outside it was only 15°C. We turned on the air conditioner in the room but it didnt help at all.

The staff were helpful and the venue was close to downtown, but the motel reeked of cigarette smoke. It was supposed to be a nonsmoking room, but I may have been the only nonsmoking person to stay there in the history of the motel. The stench seeped into everything and it was difficult to breathe, much less sleep. If you're a smoker, you've found the hotel for you. If not, you might want to try somewhere else.

Overall, enjoyed our stay at the Stratford. Great location right in the city centre. Rooms are dated and could use some better insulation but otherwise no complaints!
