Be among the first to stay in Twin Peaks, a newly built 1-bedroom, 1-bath A-frame cabin offering the perfect blend of comfort and modern style. This is no ordinary A-frame! With tall ceilings and a full-size stairway to the open loft bedroom, you won’t have to worry about bumping your head. Large windows flood the cabin with natural light, creating a bright and cheerful atmosphere throughout.

Property Highlights:
Master Bedroom (Loft): The spacious, open loft offers a king-size bed with comfy linens and pillows, a large-screen TV, and a Blu-ray DVD player. With lots of windows, you’ll enjoy plenty of natural light and gorgeous views during your stay.

Living Room: The cozy living area features a futon that folds out into a full-size bed, comfortably sleeping 2 guests. The living room also includes a large-screen SMART TV with Blu-ray DVD player—bring your Netflix login! Linens and pillows are conveniently stored in drawers under the futon. The electric fireplace adds ambiance and a little extra warmth (but should not be relied on as your primary heat source). The cabin is equipped with central heat and air for year-round comfort.

Bathroom: A full bathroom with a shower, fresh towels, washcloths, and a hairdryer (under the sink) for your convenience.

Outdoor Amenities:
Patio & Firepit: Step outside and enjoy the peaceful views at the patio table, or gather around the firepit with 4 chairs and twinkle lights. On clear nights, this is the perfect spot to stargaze and enjoy the beauty of the mountain sky. (Please note: firewood is not provided, but can be purchased locally at nearby gas stations. Marshmallow sticks are provided for a fun, cozy night by the fire!)

Hot Tub: A recently added 4-person hot tub is the perfect way to unwind after a day of adventures. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the warm water, complete with robes and slippers for extra comfort.

Grill: Fire up the propane gas grill and enjoy a meal outdoors while taking in the fresh mountain air.

Additional Features:
Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen includes a full-size stove, microwave, fridge, utensils, plates, glasses, cookware, a toaster, and a Keurig K-cup coffee maker (2 K-cups provided). A dining table for 4 is perfect for sharing meals together.

Washer & Dryer: A full-size washer and dryer are available, with starter laundry items supplied for your convenience.

Child-Friendly: A Pack ‘n Play crib is available upon request, making this cabin a great choice for families.

Driveway: While the cabin features a paved driveway, it can be a bit steep and intimidating for those not used to mountain roads. For easier access, we also have a reserved gravel parking spot below the house.

Before you pack up and head to the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!
Dillsboro NC elevation starts at 1,975 feet. Think of this as your starting point. If you want to get a beautiful mountain view, you gotta climb some mountains. Mountain roads are typically gravel, steeper, narrower and curvier than you may be use to driving. This is all part of our charm.
We do have one big hill to get up. It is gravel. We regularly drive a Hyundai Sonata up. While AWD vehicles make everything easier they are not required. Maintain an even speed (10mph) going up and you should have no issues.

Items NOT provided: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, items of a personal nature. We do supply hand soap, dish soap, and starter laundry items.

Please note this is a SMOKE FREE property. Ashtrays are provided outside on the porch. If the home smells of smoke, you may lose part or all of your damage deposit for additional cleaning & odor removal.

*****This property is located off US 74 in a curve. You will hear road noise while outside. While it is not obtrusive it is noticeable, but we think the convenient location makes up for this.

*****This is a DOG friendly property, however we ask that you bring a kennel for your pet if you plan on leaving him/her alone at the house. We do charge a $45 non refundable fee for bringing your pet. If you are bringing your pet YOU MUST select the pet option at checkout. If you do not it will be taken from your damage deposit. DOGS ONLY
