Wedmore Place was such a find, we almost don't want to share it with anyone else so we can keep it to ourselves. It's about as far from a cookie cutter hotel as you can get, but they get everything right. Friendly staff, quiet, intimate spaces and little things like free breakfast and wine flights at the tasting room next door. We stayed with our three kids after a day at Busch Gardens and it was the perfect relaxing reward after a day at the park.

Great location adjacent to the winery and restaurant. The room was much smaller than I anticipated, based on the photos. The bathroom was more dated than I was expecting, too. There was a LavAzza espresso machine in the room, however no directions. I found a video online and made a cup. It was yummy, but the machine was LOUD. I'm sure I woke guests in adjacent rooms. The winery and restaurant next door were wonderful!

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Have stayed at the Wedmore lots of times and have always enjoyed my stay. Have tried different rooms and enjoy the different decor. Close to restaurants, attractions, and shopping. The Williamsburg Winery is next door for a quick bite to eat and a wine tasting.

The property was similar to an English Country Inn. It was very understated. Not anything like the normal accommodations of the general Williamsburg area. My wife loves the room, furnishings and the 4 poster bed. I liked the locations as it was a little remote and was very relaxing.

My stay at this establishment was most agreeable. The chambers were kept in fine cleanliness, with an abundance of natural light and a most pleasant courtyard for one’s enjoyment. The beds offered much comfort, and the bathing room proved a true luxury, with ample hot water to soothe the limbs. One note of caution: the walls are thin, such that the voices of neighboring lodgers may be heard, and likely thine own may carry as well. Additionally, those who rely upon the T-Mobile signal shall find it wanting. Yet in all, 'twas a most restful and commendable lodging.

What a lovely venue. The Inn looks like a European manor house on the outside with each room decorated differently, nothing cookie-cutter about this place ! The breakfast was good and it was nice to have a flight from the Williamsburg winery(a short 2 minute walk away) included in the price of your room. I’ve been to Williamsburg many many times, but this is my first stay at Wedmore Place, but it won’t be the last!
