The Space:
This waterfront, two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage is perfect for couples and families alike. It is fully equipped with all luxury offerings and comfortable accommodations! As you walk inside, you are greeted by the fully equipped kitchen with everything included for your stay here in Winthrop, including a Keurig with various coffee pods to choose from for your morning coffee. Take a cup of coffee out to the deck and enjoy your morning with the company of the sounds of loons by the lake! The living room and kitchen have the best views out of the windows toward the lake. The living room boasts a loveseat, two comfortable chairs, a table, and a large mounted television. It is perfectly decorated to make you feel like you are among the coziest spaces on the lake.

Just off the living room is the first bedroom, which includes a king-sized bed, two bureaus for all of your belongings to feel just at home, and perfectly placed décor. The second bedroom includes a full-sized bed as well as a twin-sized bed, bureaus, and cozy décor. The full bathroom is at the corner of the second bedroom and includes a bathtub, luxury towels, and individual toiletries for your stay.

The interior is definitely something to be talked about, but the outside is where the magic is! Once on the private outdoor deck, you will find cozy seating as well as a gas grill for your cooking needs. Down the stairs from the deck, you will find the lawn, which goes directly to the shores of Cobbosseecontee Lake! This waterfront property is on a unique cove on Cobbosseecontee Lake and has the most pristine views. The lake is best known for its depth as well as its bass fishing! Cobbosseecontee also has the only active inland waters lighthouse in Maine! Cobbosseecontee’s water quality is so great today that you can see up to eight feet in depth! There is so much to see out there on the water and onshore! A lovely sight during the warmer weather and equally as pristine during the winter! This property is perfect for those who love to snowmobile and ice fish! Our property sits adjacent to the shore and you can take off on your own snowmobiles right from the property! Cobboseecontee Lake is one of the best places to fish in the state. This property is a gem hidden in a beautiful cove on one of the most prestigious lakes in Maine!

Guest Access:
Complete access to fire pit,Kayaks,canoe, BBQ grill, boat dock and of curse the lake, A wonderful fishing spot as well as recreational boating,jet skiing,swimming or snowmobiling and ice-skating in the winter time. Year ‘round there is always an abundance of activities to participate in here at the Cozy Keyes Cottage.

The Neighborhood:
We are lucky to be a part of Winthrop, Maine! There are so many charming local shops and eateries nearby in downtown Winthrop. We are down the road from one of the most famous ice cream shoppes in Maine, Fielders Choice! If you are new to Maine or new to this area, we definitely recommend! The theater at Monmouth is always a great family outing if you happen to be visiting when a production is playing! We are close to Hannaford (a local grocery store) in downtown Winthrop as well as in Augusta as well!

Here at the cottage, our quaint neighborhood is quiet and serene. You will find more noise made by the loons than anything else! The quiet dirt road let’s guests walk around and look at the surroundings. Feel free to adventure as best as you can in this very small neighborhood! The local neighbors are all friendly and welcoming.

Getting Around:
The Cottage is right on the cove of Cobbossee Lake. There is a public boat landing minutes away and docking access at Cozy Keyes Cottage. There is also a Marina within walking distance that has a local bakery serving sandwiches, convenience items, and baked goods as well as the White Duck Restaurant and Pub which is a two minute walk from the cottage.

Other Things to Note:
There is a $195 pet fee. Please be kind and let us know beforehand if you plan to bring your pet. Pets are always welcome as we know first hand that they are a part of a family unit!

We also ask that our guests always pick up after their pets both indoors and outdoors. This includes keeping pets off the furniture as well.
