Venture out on evening walks through the grounds and beyond to spot wildlife, including boxing hares and soaring barn owls. Head 13 miles to the magnificent Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Landscape, with its heath, riverside and coastal walks. While you are here, visit Snape Maltings, with its shops, galleries, eateries and concert hall. Here you can also take trips out along the River Alde during the warmer months. Have a day out at the seaside at fascinating Thorpeness, created in the early 20th century as a private fantasy holiday village.

Take two steps up to let yourselves into the log cabin, which sits beautifully within its wooded setting. Emerge in a friendly, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you will feel right at home throughout your stay. Wander over to the chic, modern kitchen area to unpack any fresh Suffolk produce you have stocked up on along the way. Here you will also find everything else you need to help you cater for yourselves on those occasions you choose not to dine out. Sit down to tasty meals at the elegant table for two, then settle on the soft seating in front of the Smart TV afterwards. When you are ready to head through to your king-size bedroom, complete with roll top bath, you’ll discover you have a second TV through here for late night and lazy morning viewing. Treat yourselves to a perfect night’s sleep in this sumptuous room. You also have a beautiful bathroom within the log cabin that comes complete with both a walk-in shower..

Duck under the outdoor rainfall shower before hopping into your steaming hot private hot tub to soak.
