When it's time to hit the hay, you'll have a choice of two beautifully-decorated bedrooms; a double with plenty of storage space for beach paraphernalia and a bunk room, which children will thoroughly enjoy. Stroll a few metres from the property to the vibrant market town of Woodbridge, where you'll find many specialist shops, restaurants, and pubs. If it's the arts you're after, you'll be pleased to discover the galleries, antique shops, and theatres available for mooching around on a morning. To wander along the shore, journey to Orford Ness Beach (11 miles), which has a large shingle stretch that backs onto a National Trust Nature Reserve. Immerse yourself in its fascinating 20th-century military history or go to the keen hiking spot of Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you'll find hundreds of miles of vast heathland, ancient woodlands, and picturesque forestry.
