Apparently this property had been having issues with third party vendors since July (as informed by employee) and this resulted in them not having accounted for our pays in full reservation. By mere chance I decided to call them to inform them we would be arriving after midnight and we were told they did not have a room for us. After quite a lot of back and forth we were told we would have a 2 queen bed room (what we paid for) room for the night but we would probably need to move the next day to a 1 king suite with 2 cots for my kids. Only other option was a full refund and for me to get another room (after midnight- and while traveling all day with 2 sleepy kids) Employee who assisted us sounded as frustrated as me with the situation as they have been dealing with the issue since July. Awful, stressful situation- once we arrived to the rooms they were clean and comfortable. Next day we were told we would be able to stay in our room- not before having our key cancelled, just in case….fun times.
