Although the room was clean, we had several issues upon checking that were not really rectified. We had stayed in this room the week prior and the broken blind that we were told had been repaired was not. The phone did not work when we tried to call the front desk after we had unpacked and I went to bathe in a tub with barely like warm water. My husband went down to the desk and spoke with attendant who did have engineer check the hot water tanks and the water did get a bit warmer. We decided not to move rooms since a similar room was not available but we were offered another room with tub but only a queen bed. We got a cord for the phone but the connection was intermittent mat best. Although all of this may seem trivial it just seems that things are getting run down and not being addressed.

This was a fine hotel in most ways. Convenient location, clean, great breakfast and service. The biggest issue we had was with outside road noise from the highway and inside from other guests that we could hear through the walls and ceiling. The price was about twice what others in the area were so we were hoping for a little more… like a mini fridge? Slept well and left recharged though which is what we needed.

Wonderful Wytheville.

Arrived before dinner. Was promptly greeted & checked in effortlessly. Picked out a restaurant (7 Dogs Brew Pub) from the list provided five minutes away. Meal was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Deceiving room pictures!

Hotels.com shows deceiving pictures on the app! We asked for a roll in shower and upon arrival we got a regular shower with a 6”curb and door which made it very difficult for us due to the wheelchair without safe access! Very disappointing and we asked for a room with that buy of course they didn’t have one since we booked on app and not directly with them!
