It opens directly onto a sunny south-facing courtyard, the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The open-plan living and dining area offers a comfortable space to relax and socialise, complete with a large sofa, TV, and a selection of board games. The modern bathroom includes a walk-in shower with fresh towels and complimentary toiletries provided. Set in a quiet residential street, Number 20 is within walking distance of York’s most iconic attractions: National Railway Museum -12-minute walk, York Minster – 20-minute walk, Betty’s Tea Room – 20-minute walk, The Shambles – 25-minute walk, York Racecourse – 10-minute drive, York Train Station – 15 minute walk or 5 minute taxi. Whether you’re visiting for a romantic weekend, a family break, a day at the races or a work trip, Number 20 provides everything you need for a relaxing stay in one of the UK’s most historic and beautiful cities. If you're bringing a little one, please let me know in advance and I’ll be happy to set up a travel cot and high chair for your stay. A fitted sheet for the cot will be provided, but for safety and hygiene reasons, guests will need to bring their own baby pillow and duvet (if desired).
