Needs an overhaul.

1st of all, the picture of the lobby is not an accurate picture of the real lobby. The lobby furniture is old, dirty and needs to be replaced. Our room had stains on the sheets. We made our reservation months in advance, but somehow we were given a handicap room and were told there was no other room available. The furniture was old and dirty with stains on them. We were given one bar of soap for a two night stay for two adults. No room service for the second day and we had to ask for new clean towels. The breakfast was very basic with waffles, little Debbie snacks and offered no meat selections or fruit.

The staff was really nice when we checked in. Unfortunatley was a little disappointed the pool was not working as the pump was down. The bath tubs didnt have a plug so i couldn't take a bath to cool off as it was almost 100 degrees out. The facility was clean though. Breakfast was ok not a lot of variety.

We requested and expected a "quiet room" with a queen size bed. What we got was a "handicapped accessible" room that was anything BUT quiet and very inconvenient for anyone who is NOT handicapped. And a double bed instead of queen size. AND the management did NOT offer any remedy to our complaints. And the supposed included breakfast was a joke. We won't be staying here again and I hope this is not representative of Days Inn hotels.

The only positive thing I can say is that the bed was comfortable. The room was very outdated. The carpet was old and really dirty; I didn't feel comfortable walking around the room without shoes. The chairs in the room were also really dirty in that caked-in kind of way. I did not use the shower so I can't speak to that. The breakfast was basically just yogurt, stale bread, self-made waffles, and old hard-boiled eggs.

Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay over (trash was not taken out and bed was not made). Pool needs to be fixed (has broken concrete on the top coating. Overall it was a good stay.

The hotel is pet friendly. Maybe that’s why the room and bedding smelled like wet dog. The bathroom smelled like a cross between baby puke and rotten cheese. The smell got worse as the shower was used. Maybe the stained shower curtain was holding the smell and the moisture in the shower made it worse.

The hotel itself was ok. Bed comfortable enough and air conditioning worked. Lobby had an unpleasant odor as we walked in. Parking was atrocious, small lot with many large trucks. Room was ok, hair in the bathtub, dog found a candy wrapper near the bedframe. Air freshener on top of the closet was suspect. 2 sets of towels for 2 queen beds. I've seen worse for this price point, but also better.
