Great property. Modern. Quiet. Oldest pub in York next to it a big bonus! A flat 15 minute walk into centre of town ( not a problem unless you are not mobile)

Breakfast offering is a stand-out with a great selection of items with thought put into providing kids options too. Rooms are clean and well maintained but bathrooms small. Monday night is 'open mic' night in the lounge / bar / restaurant downstairs - very loud and not great if you are just trying to have a quiet family dinner after a long day out.

The Moxy hotel was pleasant enough, very convenient location. The room didn’t have any storage for clothing, so you can’t unpack at all and the room windows are very close to the building across, so we had to keep our curtains shut, it made the room dark and claustrophobic

A modern hotel within easy walking reach of the centre. There is no vehicle access to the entrance being situated in a pedestrian precinct but its only a short walk. Rooms are small and basic but clean and adequate. Breakfast was adequate but the same buffet each day. No on site parking.

We were put in an accessible room which had limited counter space and the shower area (with no tub of course) spilled water into the rest of the washroom. Would be great for someone who needed those amenities but not great for our family. Lounge was fun, food was decent, and it had a work out area - not big but good enough.

Overall our staying was good, but in our room there was no hot water in the shower, however the hotel provided us another room with complimentary drinks on our choice which was quite pleasant. The location is very quiet and convenient with ease access to all main sightseeings, pubs and restaurants. Definitely recommend this hotel for your to stay.
