Great place to stay if visiting York

Moxy York is a great location - a short walk to the main attractions, good places to eat etc. The hotel is bright and clean and modern. A great environment for chilling, having breakfast and the complimentary drink is a nice touch. The rooms were very peaceful. Staff are all friendly and really helpful. Nothing is too much for them. We will definitely be staying again.

Was a nice hotel, clean and modern. 2 bad things were the queen size bed is 2 singles pushed together so not comfortable with the 2 mattresses in the middle and an awful smell in bathroom when using sink.

Lively, charming hotel concept. Beds don’t have mattress protectors!!! Gah!!! How in 21st c can you have too small sheets on a bed without even a protector. Will stay again but if it’s the same next time will move elsewhere.

Few days away.

A wee couple of days in York. Nice and clean hotel.Staff friendly. Very close to the shambles, cathedral, shops pubs etc. about £ 8;00 taxi ride from main train station. Lovely staff. Could do with some place to hang coats . Separately esp in this wet weather. But otherwise …hunky dory.
