We had a great time! Perfect location for exploring Yosemite. Kitchen could use some updated utensils (serving spoons/spatulas) and a larger pot for making pasta. And more throw blankets would be nice. But the fireplace was wonderful and beds were super cozy. Would definitely stay again!

The house is well maintained, bright and big enough for 8 people including kids. It's near to Merced river and is good for short hikes or strolls. Although it gets very dark in the evenings. The house is equipped with almost everything you would need and can stay for a week or longer if you want

Rented this as a nice 3 bedroom house inside Yosemite Park. When we got there, it was late and the code didn’t work, so we couldn’t get in. Had to drive to nearest town to get phone service to get hold of Grand Welcome to change the code. Then, when we got there, there were ants everywhere, kitchen, bathroom, bedding. Tried to get help, was told ants were a common issue in mountain dwellings - just use ant spray to kill them - didn’t work! Host would not give a reasonable refund, even though we toughed it out! Complete disappointment!

Everything was great. The ice/ water make did not work. We called about it, but never got anyone to fix it. We ended up buying bags of ice. Not a big deal, but they didn't really seem to care to help.
