Major issues, but beautiful place

This hotel is gorgeous! However, we booked a room with 2 beds as it was myself and my mom traveling for a competition for my daughter. We don’t want to sleep in the same bed. When we arrived at 2:15 pm we were told our room wasn’t ready. That was fine, we just hung out in the lobby until we needed to leave to go to the competition. We asked one more time before we needed to leave around 3:30 and it still wasn’t ready. When we got back from the competition at 10:30 pm, we were told that they didn’t have any double rooms that were clean. They could offer us the executive suite at no additional charge. It was a beautiful room but it still only had one bed. The bed was amazingly comfortable, but the sleeper sofa wasn’t fit for an animal. The springs and the bar could be felt throughout, so my mom ended up just sleeping on the couch. I will most likely try to give this place another chance because it was so nice, but this stay wasn’t all that great.

Got checked in go to room which was clear on other side of property. Room had a broken outlet hanging out of wall. Light when turned on had to do it twice for ot to actually come on. Random empty spot on wall with holes from what looked like an old picture was hanging. Went to pool. One word yuck! Pool was cloudy had dirt floating old eye lashes laying around pool. Pool was cold. Hot tub didnt work had a big hole and wasnt working. Go back to our room key wont work!! Go to front desk they give me another one go up and ot works. Asked front desk for sheets and blankets extras.... was told they would bring up... never showed up. Stayed 2 days people in our area where very loud slamming doors. Went to pool again next day was even more dirty. Ended up staying in the room the whole time. Tub had no hot water was luke warm at best. Just not an overall good time definitely not worth the $300 we paid.. will be staying elsewhere next time forsure.

Overall we had a great stay for the price. Breakfast included would’ve been great but it was nice that we could order food on site for dinner. The pool was too cool for our kiddos which was a disappointment as it was one of the reasons we picked this hotel. The hot tub was also closed so we couldn’t try to get warm from the pool.

Comfortable

Very comfortable room comfortable beds. Great great size. The only downfall was, we came to town to visit family and stayed there to enjoy the hot tub and pool. There was no disclaimer anywhere that the pool area was closed. We would have booked elsewhere or stayed with family. Next time i will double check before booking but would stay again. We were given breakfast vouchers to make up for the inconvience and staff was very apologetic.
