Part of the national park (heavens gate) is very close (10 mins in car) other parts are further away but that would be the same for any hotel you stay in, the park is vast and has 5 gates so you would choose a gate then a hotel close to that gate. The staff here are amazing (10 star) so friendly and helpful and communication is not a problem, the hotel is simplistic and a little remote but all we needed was somewhere to sleep as there is too much to see and do, if you want to eat at the end of the day the food is 10 star I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay, our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, couldn’t fault them. Only downside was that Expedia advertised this property as having a bar and restaurant which it does not have onsite. But would still recommend!

Die Unterkunft war schön und die Zimmer geräumig und sauber. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel lag etwas abgeschieden, wir haben nur Taxi und Didi benutzt, was in China nicht teuer ist.

The host is super friendly and very attentive. She helped me a lot when I had trouble communicating with taxi drivers. She also helped me organize my itinerary and showed me the best places to visit. If I come back to China and Zhangjiajie, I would definitely stay here again.
