It's not in city centre, which was fine for me. It was not far out and if I'd had more time, I had hoped to explore a bit more. Give yourself a couple of days in Aberdeen.
I ate in the restaurant and it was very good. I had a "small" ploughman's platter which was very large and tasty and it included a Scotch egg, meat, cheeses, pearl onions, and a lovely chutney. For the main it was a beef pie with a puff pastry on top; veggies, and chips on the side. I was solo but there was abundant food for two! They also had a nice cask ale.
The breakfast the next morning was also good, cooked to order. I opted for the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with toast.
The staff was very nice, friendly.
