Our room was absolutely gorgeous! The room staff members were quick to respond to anything we needed. The palace was a dream but the only reason I gave it a 4 was because it was so huge and the signage to find your room was difficult to use. And it would have been nice to have several convenience stores at each section of the hotel to purchase over the counter meds, drinks, snacks and even small souvenirs. The souvenir shop has very few items and I wanted to buy one of the signature fans but for $100 I would have expected a fan that had some pearls (even fake ones) and not a fan that looked like it was worth $5. The gift shops had too many items that were not worth the time to buy for souvenirs and many were repetitive. I’d analyze the type of goods that are sold and reduce repetitive type shops! I do have to give a big shout out to the best team members in the EP CLUB; thanks to Wai, Stephen & Koffi for always preparing our “usual table for 4”, always being kind and attentive and to the chefs for preparing different delectables every day! Oh and the staff at the pools and beaches were so kind and attentive too! I also loved the lobby guys who were always great at getting us a golf cart to take us to the very end of the palace!!! Oh and the walk around the marina was beautiful. You may want to include a small snack bar at the very end near the giant yacht! Oh and we love the temperature in the pool and hot tubs and we also love the beautiful patisseries in the lobby!
