Booked and paid for a premium park view king room. Was supposedly up graded to a standard ocean view king room on the 1st floor. For me this was not an upgrade as works were being done on the beach continuously during our stay. Wanted a park view premium room which was told was a re-furbished room on a higher level. Wouldn’t change for what I paid for. Hotel was in a Nice location. Ate in the restaurant for breakfast was nice.

Convenience Plus Service!

This is our happy place in Adelaide, where we come about twice a year to see our family there. It is so convenient and as pensioners we get free off peak travel on trams, trains and buses, just register at the tourist information centre. The staff at Oaks are so obliging. Our washer/dryer decided not to dry the clothes so they offered to do any laundry for me. I was able to wash clothes and they dried them for me. Nothing is ever a problem. One thing to remember is the meals in the Restaurant are huge. We had fish and chips (on seafood night) and each got two large pieces of fish. You will not regret staying here.
