I absolutely loved my stay at This Hostel in Amsterdam. The pod-style setup was perfect. Great privacy, and although the space is small, it’s exactly as advertised. The photos are completely accurate, and the value for the price is fantastic. The location is amazing, right near everywhere you’d want to be. There are tons of great food spots, nightlife, and dessert places all around, which made it super convenient and fun to explore the city. The shared bathrooms are very nice and well-maintained. The only minor downside is that they can sometimes smell a bit moldy due to the sinks leaking slightly, but it wasn’t a big deal. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Bag storage is free, and they even let us check in hours early at no extra charge. There’s also a bar and a full restaurant downstairs in the hostel, which was awesome. Overall, an amazing experience with absolutely no real complaints. I would 100% stay here again, 10/10.

Great choice if you're looking for a more cost effective option to a full hotel room, but dont wish to wish to share a dorm style room. The cubes were surprisingly quiet and the bed comfortable.

This is a good option for a night or two. It's a pretty cramped space for two people. We were on the basement level - which is the storage for cleaning and restaurant supplies. That's not a big deal, but the issue is the staff forgetting that people are sleeping. We were woken up around 12am by very loud voices in the hallway. The shared bathroom has a good layout, we didn't feel cramped - but we were also up super early to catch a train. It was clean every time we used them. Didn't use the shower but did check it out. There was at least one broken shelf in each stall and no hooks for your towel or clothes....and you can't put them on a shelf to keep dry because they're broken. The staff were very helpful when we checked in, and we were able to leave our luggage there until our room was ready.

Cube with canal view. Definitely worth the couple extra dollars. Bed was comfortable. It would be great to have a small chair or stool in the room. The location couldn’t be better. It’s right on the Dam by Amsterdam Central station.

Near the Centraal station, and easy for visiting all attractions. The staff was super friendly and they helped us in all possible ways. Clean rooms to quick service to clean washrooms and clean lifts and stairs. It was the best hostel i have ever stayed at. They have a restaurant you can dine in downstairs and where they serve breakfast. It was a great experience in all. I would come back to this place everytime.

Excellent value and enjoyable stay!!

This is an amazing hostel in the heart of the City. Just a few minute walk from the Amsterdam Central train station. The pod rooms are very clean and very functional. We had a canal view room and the natural light was very nice. The restroom/shower room was well stocked with extra towels and wash clothes. Showers stocked with shampoo and body wash. There is a laundromat just a few doors down the street if you need to do your laundry. We chose to include breakfast with our stay and it was quick and tasty. The ladies at the front desk are very knowledgeable, super friendly and really make guests feel welcome. We would absolutely stay again on future vacations and would recommend This Hostel to anyone!

I like the area of where this hostel is located, in the middle of the city centre! Everything is close by or a 5-10 min walking I just felt a bit too warm inside the room, luckily the staff at reception gave me a fan upon request, but still, it was quite hot and the mattress was a bit hard for me. Overall a good experience

First time sleeping in a capsule style hostel. Pros - it was very clean inside the rooms and also the shared bathroom was clean. Good location to walk around, close to the train station. Cons - I personally wasnt used to the small floor space, was abit of a challenge for 2 people trying to get ready at the same time. Rooms took abit of time to cool down. I think this location is very close to the nightlife so it was quite busy on the streets. Overall, if small spaces don't bother you then you will be fine staying here. If you want alot more space then this hostel will not work for you.

Great stay in the cube. It’s comfortable and well priced. I would definitely return. Only comment I would make is that the air con in our section of the corridor was not as cool as the others, the room felt a bit warm
