Beautiful, stylish room in a stunning building. The Hoxton had everything we needed as well as being a simple few stops on the tram from the Central Station. We would happily return.

Nice hotel, with a nice design. Located conveniently and easy to get into and around the city. We stayed in a room with bunk beds and down the side of the beds was rubbish that had been stuffed and missed by the cleaners. Walls could do with a little looking after. Also not the properties fault but we were placed in a room at the front right of the building and every morning (even on weekends) were waken by lorry’s outside making a lot of noise.

They use the excuse of SUSTAINABILITY here as to why beds not made and bins emptied. I did not like this hotel. Location too far out for a weekend stay. There are two Hoxton’s in Amsterdam. Do not make the mistake and stay at the LLOYD. No water or milk in the room either. Drilling outside starts at 7am and music blasting till midnight in the hotel. If you want a peaceful and luxurious stay then book one of the other fantastic hotels on offer in AMS.

From the moment we checked into the hotel the staff couldn’t have done enough for us. From little touches in the room, to the customer service was excellent. We stayed in the family room (bunk bed) and our kids loved it, it was like having separate rooms. The room was very comfortable and clean and was susprised how spacious it was. Ideal for family city break. Facilities to make tea and coffee which always helps. Nice coffee shop across the street- bit pricey and grocery store handy for those snacks for the room. Less than 10 minutes to Central Station on the tram. The closest tram stop is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel easy access.

Our room was in the basement. It was hot. Dark and along the street level which was loud with people walking along the hotel. They were loud and smoking which was extra bothersome because we had to open the window due to the heat. There was a party happening right above us. The music and people were. Extremely loud. It was a party. We left the hotel at 4a with zero sleep.
