Thoroughly satisfied with this spacious motel which provided all the needs after a long 8 hour drive. Room was warm, beds were comfortable and importantly the shower had good pressure with hot water. The check in staff were friendly helpful an courteous. This motel will be the first to return to when visiting Armidale again. Highly recommend.

Warm in Winter

Pleasantly furnished and decorated, comfortable beds, breakfast table and chairs and very efficient air-conditioning which delighted us on a frosty July night. Our room, with ensuite bathroom, and had all the inclusions expected of an Australian motel, including plates and cutlery as well as a good wifi signal. The room was very quiet; we were not aware of any noise from the adjacent highway. The motel does not have a dining room but there are fast food outlets across the road. We chose to eat dinner at the White Bull hotel a few blocks away. If it’s a frosty night, like our visit in late July, I do suggest checking working of air-conditioning and electric blankets as soon as you check-in. The air-con was so efficient we did not need the electric blankets.

The 2 bedroom apartment was relatively spacious and has been refurbished at some point not too long ago. However the cleanliness of particularly the rugs and carpets left something to be desired. Some of the fixtures, especially the bathroom were broken or in a state of disrepair. Overall though, it was comfortable and suited pur family well for the night we stayed.

Property was freezing, the one aircon is not enough for the whole apartment. It was dirty everywhere especially the blinds. There was a sensor light outside the window going off all the time.

I have stayed at Estelle Kramer a few times now when travelling to the area for work and every time staying there has been excellent. The room is clean and inviting upon opening the door. The shower is amazing. Love the options with shower heads! Close to town with food options across the road or a short walk away. Conveniently located. Looking forward to coming back for further stays.
