We enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. We booked an ocean view room. Even though our room was on the first floor, we still had a magnificent view. If you’re looking for a place right on the beach, this resort is a perfect location. The restaurant offered a good variety of food, especially their Sunday brunch. We had a kitchen in our unit. Even though we didn’t cook, there is ample room in the refrigerator. There is a clothes washing machine in the kitchen that we used, but no dryer. We air dried our clothes instead. There are a couple souvenir shops onsite, including a jewelry shop that specializes in Tahitian pearls. You can also rent a car from the Reception desk, if desired. The island is easy to drive and picturesque. I can confidently recommend this resort.

Room was great. It was large with an amazing view. Overall, the hotel staff were friendly. Check in was very delayed and a little disorganized. The manager was involved with numerous dissatisfied guests but after check in the stay was wonderful. The pool, the view from our room and anywhere on the property is amazing. Great place to relax before flying out on late flight.

Booked months in advance and was still given the room with the worst view. Hot tub was broken and called three times to fix it. I walked back to front desk to tell them no one came and they ended up escorting maintenance to my door. Maintenance looked at me and in then lied to my face and theirs telling them they had already spoken to me. Was quite a weird situation. The hot tub worked once after they fixed it and never again the rest of the trip.

The rooms were spacious and kept very clean. The staff was excellent in trying to service all the requests and very accommodating. Kitchen did not have enough utensils to cook full meals. Upon request they brought 2 sets of pans. It’s better to book the Royal suite if you absolutely need a full kitchen which had all utensils.

Our room was spectacular. Everyone was super nice. We loved the food and took advantage of room service every day. Cocktails are expensive, but beer and wine were reasonable for resort prices. We would definitely stay again. The black beach was so beautiful as well.
