The frontdesk staff are polite and helpful. The room is great - spacious, clean and has great amenity. It has a continuously filled and always hot onsen which is super convenient, and we enjoyed it a lot. The breakfast was good in terms of variety and the quality. It is pricy but I don't feel my money is wasted.

We enjoyed the ocean view, private onsen in the balcony, nice breakfast, relaxing lounge on 2nd Fl (but music too loud) and location of the hotel. Only thing we did not like was the slippery tiles in the shower. I almost fell, the tiles were slippery & there is no grab bar. Very dangerous and I started to wear the black slipper you put outside in the balcony when I took the shower.

The property is unassiming from the exterior, but the interior is top-tier. My room was above and beyond what I anticipated and I was immediately subdued by the atmosphere and had NO CHOICE but to utterly relax. This hotel was amazing. Our only issue was with the dining options. Even though they list a bunch of dining options there is really only one restaurant. When we went for dinner they only presented us with the tasting menu at 190$ per person. The restaurant menu had many options that we would have preferred at reasonable prices but they told us we could only have these in our room. It was a very odd experience to see a mostly empty restaurant with a vast menu displayed but they were set on telling us what we could eat. Weird. The food was great when we went back to our room to eat.
