Avery Place is a spacious (1,130 sq. ft.) 2-Story Craftsman Cabin. A perfect retreat nestled among the pines and just a short walk from the serene shoreline of Vallecito Lake. This charming cabin features a cozy fireplace to warm your evenings, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere no matter the season. Enjoy the convenience of air conditioning, keeping you cool during warm summer days. Step outside onto the covered deck, where you can relax with a good book or enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the peaceful surroundings.

This cabin is designed for comfort and enjoyment, making it the ideal home base for your lakeside getaway! A perfect vacation cabin for families, couples, or just good friends!

This spacious retreat features two king-size beds on the second floor, providing ample space for restful nights. Additionally, there's a full-size pullout couch on the first floor, perfect for accommodating two children under 12 years. Please note there is a $35 linen fee for guests exceeding four persons or for the use of the pullout, and we also offer a complimentary fold-up play crib.

The master bedroom boasts a private bathroom, while the second bedroom has easy access to a hallway bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort for all guests.

The living room offers seating for six, and while the charming ceiling beams can be low in some areas, they add character to the space. Unwind indoors by the cozy stone fireplace in the living-room and stay connected with free Wi-Fi, and enjoy entertainment with Netflix and DVD movies available on the TV.

Just a friendly reminder that since we are nestled in the pines, the internet speed may be slower than what you’re accustomed to. Think of it as an opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and fully immerse yourself in the serene surroundings.

Off the living room is a half bath on the first floor, and air conditioning for those warm days.

Our sunny kitchen, complete with a dining area that seats four, offers window seating for enjoying the views. The kitchen is stocked with just about everything you'll need to master up meals at the cabin like a chef! You could also enjoy dining under the covered decks fresco style with the charcoal BBQ next to the deck.

The cabin is well-stocked with linens, cleaning supplies, personal care products, and all the necessary amenities for cooking. Feel free to reach out with any questions about these items. We're here to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible!

The large covered patio features plenty of seating and a charcoal BBQ for alfresco dining, making it an ideal spot for gatherings. Please note that smoking is not permitted inside the cabin, but we do provide a designated smoking bin on the patio for ashes and cigarette butts. Please shut both front doors and have window closed so the smoke does not enter the cabin, and thank you!

And, for those looking to explore the lake, we provide a canoe for your adventures, along with fishing poles for a delightful day of angling. Kept at the cabin is a stand-up paddleboard that can be carted to the lake's shoreline; we also supply oars, and standard sized life jackets. Please note- You are responsible for your family's safety, and using any trail or watersport provided, you are doing so "At your own risk".
The canoe, SUP and BBQ are not available from the end of October until mid-Spring.

Due to the unique landscape, trash companies are unable to use their hydraulic lifts to pick up containers, so we ask that all guests please use the dumpsters located on the main road for your trash disposal. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our community clean and beautiful.

We’re pet-friendly! One to two dogs are welcome for a $50 fee, pets are not allowed on the furniture or linens, please ensure they are crated if left alone in the cabin; always under your control; picked up after outside; any flea and tick issues resolved before your stay.

One week before your stay, I will start communication on your upcoming trip. As your dedicated host and concierge, I am available to answer any questions or recommendations in the area so this can truly be a memorable trip.
I have a guest book in each cabin with detailed information of the cabin, area, hikes, restaurants and activities. We can also arrange to meet at the cabin so I can better understand your needs, goals, and desires, allowing me to tailor your experience to perfection!

My top priority is to provide you with a comfortable cabin, stocked with just about everything you'll need, while you explore all that Vallecito Lake and the surrounding areas have to offer.
